Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026. Please read these terms carefully before requesting electrical diagnostics or repair services.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Service Model
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to https://localelectricalrepairmasters.com and your use of our dispatch and referral coordination services. By contacting Electrical Repair Pros through our website or telephone line at 877-451-0206, you enter into a binding legal agreement subject to these Terms.
Network Referral Role: Electrical Repair Pros functions as a nationwide marketing and dispatch network that connects residential homeowners and commercial property managers with independent, third-party electrical service contractors. Electrical repair work, panel installations, and physical troubleshooting are performed directly by independent local contractors, not directly by Electrical Repair Pros.
Critical Electrical Emergency Warning
If you observe open flames, violent electrical arcing or sparking, smoking service panels, water touching energized electrical equipment, or downed outdoor power lines, evacuate the structure immediately and dial 911 or contact your municipal emergency response agency and local electric utility company before attempting to schedule non-emergency service.
2. Diagnostic Visits & Upfront Authorizations
Electrical systems require specialized on-site testing—such as multimeter continuity tracing, infrared thermal imaging, and branch circuit load analysis—to isolate the exact origin of a fault behind walls or within breaker boxes.
- Diagnostic Fees: Initial diagnostic inspection fees are quoted before dispatch. This fee compensates the technician for travel, time, and dedicated testing.
- Written Estimates: Following diagnostic evaluation, the attending electrician presents a clear, written proposal detailing the recommended repair scope, necessary code-approved hardware, and firm pricing.
- No Work Without Approval: Physical repair procedures or panel modifications never begin without your explicit consent and authorization of the quoted scope and price.
3. Property Access & Work Environment
To ensure technician safety and compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA regulations, property owners agree to provide:
- Unobstructed access to main electrical distribution panels, subpanels, utility meter bases, and affected wall junction boxes.
- A minimum working clearance of at least three feet in front of and around all electrical service equipment.
- A safe, dry working space free from standing water, severe structural hazards, and unsecured domestic pets.
- An adult authorized to approve repair work present throughout the service appointment.
4. Independent Contractor Standards & Licensing
Independent electrical professionals in our network are expected to maintain applicable trade licensing, general liability insurance, and workman’s compensation coverage as mandated by their respective state and municipal regulatory boards. Dispatched contractors are independently responsible for pulling required building permits, scheduling local code inspections, and executing all installations to the standards of the National Electrical Code.
5. Equipment Warranties & Workmanship Guarantees
All hardware—including circuit breakers, distribution panels, GFCI/AFCI receptacles, and transfer switches—carries manufacturer warranties subject to the terms established by individual equipment producers.
Workmanship guarantees are provided directly by the executing independent contractor as specified on your written invoice. Any unauthorized tampering, non-certified modifications, or third-party alterations made to repaired circuits, breakers, or panels after service completion voids workmanship warranty coverage.
6. Limitation of Liability
Electrical systems are inherently hazardous and subject to unpredictable environmental stress. Neither Electrical Repair Pros nor participating independent contractors shall be held liable for:
- Pre-existing, concealed wiring faults, historical ungrounded knob-and-tube runs, or deteriorating aluminum branch wiring existing prior to our arrival.
- Grid voltage spikes, utility company phase dropouts, or power surges originating from external transmission infrastructure or severe atmospheric lightning strikes.
- Incidental or consequential property damages resulting from delayed homeowner reporting of electrical warning signs.
In all instances, total aggregate liability of Electrical Repair Pros shall not exceed the total dispatch coordination fees actually paid by the customer for the specific service call.
7. Governing Law & Severability
These Terms shall be interpreted and enforced under the laws of the United States. Should any individual clause or provision within these Terms be determined invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining terms shall continue in full force and effect.
8. Customer Inquiries & Communications
